She lived her life dedicated to serving others, providing care, and love unconditionaly.Delicia was never lacking a kind word as by all the people she touched and influenced through her Social Working Career.
Delicia's first job was as Upward Bound Coordinator at South Texas College. This is where she had the opportunity to guided first generation college students on their career choices. She then assisted folks with special needs at the Sean Ashley House in Houston. Later, she coordinated teams to help the elderly at Harris County Adult Protection service. Her clients were so happy to see her coming, because they knew there was always a gift or new blanket headed their way. Finally she helped the sick and needy at Valley Baptist Hospital in Brownville. Finding after care and counseling for those had none. Hebrews 6:10 truly encompass the life Delicia lived for those who had none.
Visitation will start on Friday October 14 from 12:00 p.m. to 9:00 p.m. and on Saturday October 15 from 8:00 a.m. to 10:20 a.m. following a mass at the Sacred Heart of Jesus Catholic Church in Escobares, Tx and after be lay to rest at the Escobares Cemetery.
El dia 13 de Octubre fallecio a la edad de 45 años la SRA. MARIA DELICIA COMPTE. La participan con profundo dolor su esposo: Sr. Michael Compte, su hija: Alexandria Carter, sus padres: Sr. Guillermo Ramirez Jr & Sra. Bertha Ramirez, sus hermanos: Jose Aaron Ramirez (Jeanette) & Guillermo Ramirez III (Nereyda), su haijado: Jose Aaron Ramirez Jr, sobrinos y demas familiares.
El duelo se recibe en Rodriguez Funeral Home de Escobares, Tx. el dia Viernes 14 de Octubre de 12:00 p.m. a 9:00 p.m. y el dia Sabado 15 de Octubre de 8:00 a.m a 10:20 a.m. de donde partira el cortejo a una misa de cuerpo presente en la Iglesia Sagrado Corazon de Jesus de Escobares, Tx. para posteriormente despedirse en el Panteon de la misma ciudad.
